Voice UX
I’ve spent much of my career exploring voice, designing interactions across Google Assistant, YouTube, and the Next Billion Users team. That work took me to places like India, Indonesia, and Brazil, where I researched voice usage and co-authored a playbook for emerging markets.
More recently, I led design on NotebookLM’s Audio Overviews, creating a new voice-first interaction model that introduced paradigms like “interrupt.”
I also partnered with IDEO and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on voice-led initiatives to expand digital literacy. These examples represent only part of a broader body of voice work that has shaped much of my career at Google and beyond.

NotebookLM • Audio Overviews
I led design on Audio Overviews, shaping the experience from prototype to launch and introducing new paradigms such as “interrupt.” I worked closely with the team to craft the end-to-end experience and fun fact: I unintentionally coined the name Audio Overview!
